Gratitude Exercises

Notebook and Pen

Journaling

Write down a few things you are grateful for. The purpose of this exercise is to reflect on the past day, few days, or week and to focus on the positive. Journal once or twice per week.

Gratitude Jar

You can create a special jar where you save gratitude statements at the end of the day. If you do not have a jar, that is okay. You can use an object where you can store pieces of paper.

"Thank You" Letter

You can write a letter to anyone and it is ultimately up to you whether or not you decide to give the letter to the person. During this time, it is best to save the letter until we can give it to the person if that is what you decide.
